Friday 15th May at The Drewe Arms Community Pub in Drewsteignton
On Friday May 15th, immediately preceding National Epilepsy Week, we will have not one, but two amazing local bands performing with the money raised going to help a local Epilepsy support group.
Starting the evening off, we have Susannah and the Noise debuting their incredible Dartmoor inspired EP, before Johnny and the Chic Sisters will be headlining for us.
Whether you’re coming for the music, the community spirit or to support an important cause, this promises to be a special night.
Best still – get 10% off every ticket if you book by Sunday 22nd February!

The Line-Up
Susannah and the Noise
Pulsating guitar and drums weave with Susannah Gentle’s powerful vocals, as voices of Dartmoor loom out of the darkness.
Susannah and the Noise create powerful guitar music infused with fragments of archive voices. Teaming up with the Dartmoor Trust Archive, Leeds University Archive of Vernacular Culture and the NASA Sound Archive, the band conjure a heady mix of foot-tapping, cascading and uplifting songs.
New material from Lost Tapes Dartmoor Vol 1 will be performed live for the first time ahead of its 2026 mini-album release.
‘The Long Room at the Drewe Arms is the perfect setting,’ says guitarist Dan Pritchard. ‘Rooted in Dartmoor, with a sharp futurist-edge, we’re super excited to be playing this new set in such a community-focused venue on the edge of the moor.’
Johnny and the Chic Sisters
The South West’s premier live band, specialising in classic soul, Motown, funk, R&B, Stax, disco, rock and pop.
Featuring exceptional vocals, experienced musicians and professional sound and lighting, Johnny and the Chic Sisters deliver high-energy, dancefloor-filling performances packed with timeless favourites.
Expect big vocals. Big grooves. And a packed dancefloor.
About Epilepsy Social
Exeter Epilepsy Social is a welcoming group for people living with epilepsy, as well as family members, friends, and anyone affected by the condition.
They meet 7:30-9pm on the second Monday of each month in an informal, friendly setting to talk about epilepsy and whatever else is on people’s minds. Their aim is simple: to provide connection, understanding and mutual support in a relaxed, inclusive space.
Funds raised from this event will help cover the cost of room hire at their home, The Mint Methodist Centre, and support the creation of promotional materials so they can reach more people locally. By raising these funds, the group can remain sustainable and accessible to anyone who needs support.
Why this matters
Epilepsy affects around 1 in 100 people in the UK. While medical care is vital, community support plays an equally important role.
Local peer groups like Exeter Epilepsy Social help reduce isolation, provide reassurance, and create space for people and families to connect with others who truly understand what they’re going through.
Your ticket directly helps sustain that support within our local community.
