Professor John Terry FMedSci

Co-Founder and Managing Director
John combines commercial acumen and academic excellence to drive the company’s vision. A world-leading epilepsy expert, John was awarded TechSpark Founder of the Year in 2024 and the recipient of the Tech South West Leadership prize in 2025. John has led our transformation from startup to a thriving 15-strong team, backed by £5M in grants and equity investment. Alongside his role at Neuronostics John is an EPSRC Established Career Fellow and Professor of Digital Health Innovation at University of Plymouth. Additionally, he is a Theme Lead in Enabling Technologies for the Epilepsy Research Institute.

Dr Wessel Woldman

Co-Founder and Scientific Director
Wes is at the forefront of epilepsy research, having previously held prestigious Fellowships from both Epilepsy Research UK and the Medical Research Council. He has pioneered the development of mathematical models and algorithms that underpin BioEP and leads the science team in developing our cutting-edge products. He also drives forward collaborations with strategic partners, helping to integrate our technologies into existing and novel service offerings. As Co-Founder and Scientific Director Wes is a member of both our Leadership Team and board of directors.

Harvey Bull

Chief Technology Officer
Harvey leads our technical strategy and development, driving the design and implementation of scalable software systems that transform scientific insights into innovative solutions. As a member of our Leadership Team, Harvey ensures our technical roadmap aligns seamlessly with product strategy and commercial objectives.

Callum McMahon

Operations Manager
With specialisms in accounts, process review and project management, Callum supports across all our teams to drive progress towards key company milestones. Responsible for finance, HR and legal, he ensures robust and efficient procedures are in place to support the company to achieve its mission. Callum is a member of our Leadership Team and acts as secretary for our board of directors.

Jeremy Andrews

Head of Partnerships
With over 25 years business development and commercial expertise, Jeremy as a member of our Leadership Team is responsible for the development and implementation of Neuronostics’ strategic roadmap for partnerships to advance our mission to enhance neurological care with digital biomarkers. Day to day, he is primarily focused on building a robust pipeline of opportunities and securing commercial agreements to accelerate the adoption of Neuronostics’ groundbreaking technology across healthcare systems in the UK and internationally.

Dr Emanuela De Falco

Senior Research Scientist
Emanuela discovers and validates novel markers for the diagnosis and prognosis of epilepsy and other neurological conditions. With extensive research experience from postdoctoral roles at IUPUI (Indianapolis, USA) and at the EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland), she drives exciting projects in the science team to improve the performance of our existing products and helping uncover new ones.

Raiyan Sharieff

Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Manager
Raiyan is a biomedical engineer with a strong track record in navigating the complex world of medical device regulations. He has led MDR transitions for Class III devices, driven global submissions across EU, UK, and FDA markets, and successfully led multiple ISO 13485:2016 audits. As Quality and Compliance Manager at Neuronostics, he is instrumental in building a resilient quality framework and ensuring end-to-end regulatory compliance.

Joel Pearce

Senior Software Engineer
As Senior Software Engineer, Joel works on the design and development of the Neuronostics platform to ensure the platform is robust, secure and scalable. Working within the technical team and alongside the science team, he plays a key role in translating our scientific research into practical, real-world applications.

Anke Verhaege

Product Owner
With a double background as both a medical doctor and a biomedical engineer, as Product Owner Anke bridges clinical insights and technical development. By collaborating closely with clinicians, engineers and scientists, she ensures BioEP is scientifically robust and meets real-world healthcare needs.

Verity Fuller

Clinical Trial Manager
With previous roles in a biotechnology start up and a medical communications consultancy, Verity brings extensive knowledge of the clinical research lifecycle to the Clinical Operations team. Her role involves day to day management of several studies, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and ethically to ultimately support the integration of our technology into healthcare pathways.

Ella Hawthorne

Clinical Trial Coordinator
Ella possesses an extensive background in pre-clinical neuroscience, specialising in epilepsy research. Pursuing a part-time MSc in Clinical Drug Development has accelerated her growth as part of the Clinical Operations team, where she assists study monitoring and management. In her role, Ella aims to improve the patient experience for those living with neurological disorders.

Rosie Charles

Data Scientist
As a Data Scientist, Rosie works to improve the BioEP algorithms, as well as investigating novel applications for the underpinning biomarkers in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. She also collaborates with many of our academic and commercial partners to develop new ways our products can improve patient outcomes.

Kay Meiklejohn

Clinical Scientist
Kay is a Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist (Clinical Scientist, Neurophysiology) CSci, MRSB with over 20 years of clinical experience. Alongside her NHS role, Kay supports our science and clinical teams ensuring our clinical trials and products are designed to offer benefit to NHS pathways for both patient and clinical outcomes.

Rebecca Hogg

Partnerships Development Officer
Becca connects with organisations to build meaningful and productive partnerships. Becca combines strong organisational skills with a friendly, approachable style to foster relationships that drive growth. She’s passionate about teamwork and communication, working closely with partners and colleagues to ensure every collaboration is a success.

Grace Sutcliffe

Senior Administrator
Grace provides day-to-day support across all teams including finance, HR, events and compliance. She is organised and detail-oriented with over three years of experience in supporting and managing vital business administration.
