Neuronostics presents BioEP at ILAE British Branch Conference 2025

Posted

The Neuronostics team attended the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) British Branch Conference 2025 last week, where they showcased BioEP, their digital clinical decision support tool for epilepsy diagnosis.

Across the conference, the team welcomed clinicians and neurophysiology professionals to Stand S9 to demonstrate how BioEP is supporting more efficient and accurate epilepsy diagnoses in NHS Trusts. Attendees were able to explore live demonstrations, discuss real-world evaluation opportunities, and see how BioEP integrates seamlessly into routine EEG workflows.

Neuronostics exhibited alongside partners Nervus, highlighting a shared commitment to supporting NHS services to reduce EEG backlogs and improve diagnostic clarity through integrated, accessible tools.

Neuronostics symposium explores digital decision support for epilepsy

On Tuesday morning, Neuronostics hosted a symposium entitled “A digital decision support tool for epilepsy: providing objective insights for enhanced diagnostic decision-making.” The session focused on the role of digital technologies in supporting clinical interpretation of EEG data, particularly in complex or inconclusive cases.

The symposium featured expert perspectives from:

  • Professor John Terry, Managing Director, Neuronostics
  • Dr Wessel Woldman, Scientific Director, Neuronostics
  • Mr Phil Tittensor, Consultant Nurse for the Epilepsies, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust
  • Dr Kelly St. Pier, Consultant Clinical Scientist (Neurophysiology), Young Epilepsy

Speakers explored the scientific principles underpinning BioEP, shared insights into its clinical use, and discussed how objective EEG analysis can support more confident diagnostic decision-making in epilepsy care.

Neuronostics would like to thank everyone who attended the symposium and visited the stand during the conference. It was a pleasure to speak with so many clinicians about how BioEP is already helping to support clearer, more confident decisions, even when EEG findings appear inconclusive.
