Neuronostics are excited to announce plans to establish a user-group to help shape its products and offerings.

We are delighted to announce the first member of the group is Simon Privett, who lives in Exeter. Simon is a nationally recognised advocate for people with epilepsy, having recently been awarded Epilepsy Action’s ‘Volunteer of the Year award for 2019.

Simon said, I am delighted to have recently been recognised by Epilepsy Action as their volunteer of the year and am looking forward to furthering my work to help others affected by epilepsy. What most excites me about my work moving forward is partnering with Neuronostics who, with their BioEP project, are working with clinicians, researchers and the public to develop a technology which is set to revolutionise epilepsy diagnosis. As this amazing project moves into clinical trials this exciting project will have a huge impact on epilepsy diagnosis and prognosis.”

Simon has a long track record of supporting people with epilepsy, as well as building collaborations with other communities including nurses, neurophysiologists and researchers.

Scientific Director Wessel Woldman said “Critical to our ethos at Neuronostics is ensuring that all our products are developed with stakeholders in mind.  For BioEP to become widely used clinically it is critical that our software platform and its outputs reflect the needs of our users.”

Neuronostics are keen to hear from people with lived experience of epilepsy, epilepsy nurses, electrophysiologists, neurologists and others with an interest in epilepsy who would like to join our group.

Anyone interested should email Chrissie Walker: C.Walker@neuronostics.com in the first instance.
